Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--

According to reports from South Korea, Samsung plans to reduce the price of its Galaxy S series. The price reduction will take effect in Galaxy S series products, and the prices of S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra will be $100-150 cheaper than their predecessors. The price drop means that the starting price of the Galaxy S21 series has fallen from $999 to $850 to $899.

In the past few years, Samsung has been defeated by Yiga, Xiaomi and other companies in terms of price, but South Korea has reported that it will respond in 2021. Obviously, the Galaxy S21 series starts at $850 or in the United States. The price is $899, which is $100 to $150 cheaper than this year's Galaxy S20 series.

This reduction will not be felt throughout the Galaxy S21 series, not just entry-level models. As a result, S21 Plus starts at $1050 or $1099, while S21 Ultra starts at $1250 or $1299. These prices are by no means cheap, but they are more delicious than the $1199 and $1399 Samsung initially charged for S20 Plus and S20 Ultra, respectively.

Samsung may also offer 4G variants of the S21 and S21 Plus, so it may eventually become cheaper, just like the S20 FE. Sadly, Samsung is thought to have designed the S21 with a plastic back, just like the S20 FE and the Note 20. By contrast, the back of the S20 is made of glass, so the change in plastic in the S21 can ease this price decline to some extent.

The Galaxy S21 series is expected to be released in January 2021. Exynos and Qualcomm chipsets could also be used in the series, although it is not clear whether the two chipsets will reach Europe.
