Chapter 3. Create ASM disk groups

After logging in using grid, enter asmca and password to create a disk group

Click the create button to start creating the disk group.

Create a FRA disk group

Select the disk and set the disk group name to FRA. Click ok.

Ok, the same way to create a DATA disk group.

Select the disk and set the disk group to data. Click ok to start the creation.

The following interface is displayed, and the creation is successful.

After the ASM disk group is created successfully, the result is as follows

At this point, the ASM disk group has been created!
