EVC: enhanced vMotion for migration between heterogeneous CPU hosts

VSAN: centrally manage the internal disks and flash devices of x86 servers to achieve shared storage for virtual machines

Here, let's first activate the license for the ESXi host and vcenter

If it is a test environment, you can apply for a 60-day test key on the VMware website.

EXSi hosts are authorized by the number of CPU, that is to say, it depends on how many CPU your license supports and how many CPU can be managed by vcenter, while vcenter is authorized by instance, that is, the maximum number of vcenter servers supported per license

After the key is imported, it will be assigned to each component.

Open the vcenter server system tab in the assets tab, select a vcenter instance, click Action all, and click assign license in the drop-down menu

Assign the license you just imported. The Evaluation License above comes with a 60-day test license and has all the advanced features.

Similarly, assign a license to the EXSi host

After the license is allocated, you can set up a virtual machine in the data center.
