# mysql-u root mysql

Mysql > UPDATE user SET Password=PASSWORD ('newpassword') where USER='root'

Mysql > FLUSH PRIVILEGES

Mysql > quit

# / etc/init.d/mysql restart

# mysql-uroot-p

Enter password:

Mysql >

2] mysql5.7.x environment

# vim / etc/my.cnf

[mysqld]

Skip-grant-tables

: wq! # Save exit

/ / log in to the database

# mysql-uroot-p

> UPDATE user SET Password=PASSWORD ("userpasswd") where user= "username"

> flush privileges

> quit

/ / comment out the skip-grant-tables line of / etc/my.cnf

/ / restart the service

# systemctl restrt mysqld
