This course is intended for Enterprise Desktop support technicians (EDST) and provides layer 2 support for users of Windows10 personal computers (PC) and devices organized by large and medium-sized enterprises in a Windows domain environment. EDST focuses on a wide range of technical issues of Windows operating system (OS), devices, cloud services, applications, networking and hardware support. In general, EDST provides services to enterprises.
The main responsibilities of EDST include resolving technical issues related to Windows 10 installation and migration, activation, performance, configuration files, and setup; and device synchronization. Some other key responsibilities include local and remote network access; access to applications, access to data and printers; authentication, endpoint security and policy; operating system and data recovery.
The primary audience of this course is IT professionals who manage and support Windows 10 desktops, devices, users, and related network and security resources.
After completing this course, students can:
