UPS password recovery Settings

1. Connect the serial port line, one end is connected to the serial port of UPS, and the other end is connected to the serial port of the computer.

2. Open the hyperterminal and set the serial port parameters to: baud rate 2400 (9600), 8-bit data bit, 1-bit stop bit, no parity check, no flow control.

3. Press the enter key, the system will prompt: Username, press the Reset button on the network card with a fine needle at this time, the status light will flash green and orange * * alternately, then press the Reset button again, the status light will go out, press the enter key quickly, when prompted username again, enter lowercase apc, enter password prompt, and enter lowercase apc

4. The whole process of step 4 needs to be completed in 30 seconds. If there is a delay, step 4 needs to be redone.

5. After entering the menu of the network card, select System-- > Usermanager to change the user name and password again, and then select Advance-Accept changes to save the settings.

6. After successfully saving, press the Esc key to go back to the top menu and select Logout to exit normally.
