1. Mailbox database server prerequisites

Before deploying a mailbox server, it is recommended that you prepare for the following:

Install. Net Framework 4.7.2 or later. (Since the system is 2019, the version can be omitted)

Install Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2012

Install Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013

Install Unified Communications Managed API 4.0. If you are using Core Server installation, use the installation media in the\UCMA Redist folder under Exchange Server media

Install the following windows components.

Install-WindowsFeature Server-Media-Foundation, NET-Framework-45-Features, RPC-over-HTTP-proxy, RSAT-Clustering, RSAT-Clustering-CmdInterface, RSAT-Clustering-Mgmt, RSAT-Clustering-PowerShell, WAS-Process-Model, Web-Asp-Net45, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Client-Auth, Web-Digest-Auth, Web-Dir-Browsing, Web-Dyn-Compression, Web-Http-Errors, Web-Http-Logging, Web-Http-Redirect, Web-Http-Tracing, Web-ISAPI-Ext, Web-ISAPI-Filter, Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console, Web-Metabase, Web-Mgmt-Console, Web-Mgmt-Service, Web-Net-Ext45, Web-Request-Monitor, Web-Server, Web-Stat-Compression, Web-Static-Content, Web-Windows-Auth, Web-WMI, Windows-Identity-Foundation, RSAT-ADDS

2. Install the required software packages for prerequisites

Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2012

Select Accept License Agreement and click Install

Install Unified Communications Managed API 4.0

On the installation wizard page, click next.

4) Install Windows components

Install Windows Server Exchange2019

Mount the exchange server 2019 installation media and click setup.exe

On the Check whether to update page, click Do not update now and click Next

Initialize Setup

Open Exchange profile, default next step

accept the license agreement

Select Use Not Applicable Recommended Settings on the Recommendations page

On the Server Roles Selection page, check Mailbox Roles and check Automatically Install Windows Server Roles and Features required for Exchange Server installation

Select installation space and location

Select No on the Malware Protection Settings page and click the Next button

Check the preparation, check the computer, confirm that there is no error, click Install

wait for the installation

complete the installation

Visit MCEX01.mc.com/ecp, enter your username and password and click Login

After installing the first server, we installed the second server using powershell. Before installing the mailbox database server, we need to install the required software packages.

Open the powershell console and run the following command

.\ Setup.exe /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms /Mode:Install /Role:Mailbox /OrganizationName:MC /TargetDir:"D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15"

Verify that the server uses MCEX02.MC.com/ecp

Win10 Desktop Access

Windows Exchange Server2019 is installed.
