First, download and build SVN server.

Subversion has now been migrated to apache. Download it here:

There are five binary packages under windows operating system, as shown in figure:

Personally, I think it is best to use VisualSVN server and TortoiseSVN client together.

Click on the VisualSVN link above and download VisualSVN server, as shown in Figure:

Then download TortoiseSVN client, official website download address: http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads.html

VisualSVN server installation package

First install the VisualSVN server installation package, double-click the VisualSVN server installation package, as shown in Figure:

Click Next to go to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Click Agree and proceed to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Select one of the above options and click Next to proceed to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Location is the directory where VisualSVN Server is installed,Repositorys is the directory where you specify your repository.Server Port specifies a port,Use secure connection means use secure connection,Use Subversion authentication means use Subversion's own user authentication. Click Next to go to the next step, as shown in the figure:

Click Install to proceed to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Wait for the installation to complete, as shown in the figure:

After installation, start VisualSVN Server Manager, as shown in Figure:

Next we install TortoiseSVN, double click on the installation package, go to the next step. As shown in the figure:

Click Next to go to the next step, as shown in the figure:

Select Accept and click Next to proceed to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Select the installation path, and then click Next to proceed to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Click Install to start the installation, as shown in Figure:

Wait for the installation to complete, as shown in the figure after installation:

Next we install Simplified Chinese language pack, this is very simple, all the way to Next on the line, not screenshots. After the language pack installation is complete, click the right mouse button anywhere on the desktop and SVN will be found in the right menu, as shown in Figure:

Select Settings to proceed to the next step, as shown in Figure:

Select Simplified Chinese in the language on the right, and then click Apply, OK, Chinese is completed, as shown in the figure:
