Because the company server cannot connect to the public network, there are some problems when installing the logstash plug-in on the server. Record the solution of offline installation of logstash plug-in for your reference.

View a list of installed plug-ins for Logstash

. / bin/logstash-plugin list

Export offline plug-in package

Take the logstash-output-webhdfs plug-in as an example. On the server where the plug-in is installed, go to the logstash directory and execute the following command:

. / bin/logstash-plugin prepare-offline-pack logstash-output-webhdfs

After execution, the logstash-offline-plugins-*.zip file is generated in the current directory, which is the offline plug-in package.

Off-line installation

Transfer the offline plug-in to the server that needs to be installed, go to the logstash directory and execute the following command:

. / bin/logstash-plugin install logstash-offline-plugins-*.zip

After the execution is completed, the offline installation of the plug-in can be completed.
