Description

When calling this interface, you need to be aware of:

Before joining a security group, the instance must be in a stopped (Stopped) or running (Running) state.

A maximum of 5 security groups can be added to an instance.

Each security group can manage up to 1000 instances.

Your security group and instance must belong to the same Ali Cloud region.

Your security group and instance must have the same network type. If the network type is a proprietary network VPC, the security group and instance must belong to the same VPC.
