Shulou(Shulou.com)06/03 Report--
Many raspberry players are using software such as Winscp to pass files back and forth between Windows and raspberry pie. Although it can be used, it is not as convenient as the sharing of neighbors on the Windows.
If you only share with Windows, you can use Samba. But is there an easier way for both Windows and Linux to mount shared areas on raspberry pie?
In fact, many friends do not know that, in order to facilitate interaction with Unix/Linux, Microsoft has already prepared a NFS client in the Windows system, found "turn on or off the Windows function", and turn on the relevant tools. Windows 7 and later versions are supported, whether on the server or desktop.
The steps are as follows: first set up NFS on the remote raspberry pie. My settings and shared directory are shown in the figure.
Then enter the control panel in the local Windows, open the "Windows functions" tab, and select the relevant components.
After the feature is enabled successfully, you can set the NFS client, such as choosing TCP protocol or UDP protocol. Usually when I share a video to play, I choose the UDP protocol. Please think about how to set it up.
The difference between soft mount and hard mount:
For hard-mounted file systems, if the response of the remote system fails for some reason, such as hanging up the NFS server, the NFS client will continue to try to establish a connection, which may lead to hanging when executing commands such as df.
In the case of a soft-mounted file system, the NFS client will give up trying to establish a connection and send an error message after the specified time interval.
The file system is hard mounted by default, and when the hard mount attempt fails, the response to user input stops. Because of this, some users prefer to use soft mount, which will cause the system to stop trying after a failed mount attempt.
After the setup is complete, you can use the following command to mount the directory on the raspberry pie and map it to the local X disk.
After the mount is successful, you will see an extra X letter in the Windows system. Click in and you will find the directory shared by the raspberry pie.
Order to copy a video from the X disk to the desktop to see, intranet speed 1.16MB/ seconds. It's all right. Of course, you can also paste files into it, you can read and write, and it is as easy to use as your online neighbor.
