Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
Today, I would like to share with you some knowledge points about the upgrade and deployment of Windows 10. If you have any questions, find a time to chat with you.
As we all know, the client operating system Windows 7 will be officially discontinued in January 2020, that is, by 2020, Windows 7 will become an unmanaged system like WindowsXP, and Microsofr will no longer release patches or make any updates. Colleagues in Microsoft's internal Windows R & D department said that Windows 10 may be the last batch of systems released by Microsoft. Microsoft will not release Windows 11 or Windows 12. Future Windows systems will be patched every 3-6 months and expressed with internal numbers, such as Windows 10 1507, Windows 10 1703, Windows 10 1709, and so on.
Windows 10 is Microsoft's most secure Windows 10 system at present, which is equipped with antivirus software, virus detection and isolation software. in the more than two years since its release, Microsoft has discussed Windows 10 with many enterprises, and many customers and end users have given a lot of good suggestions. Microsoft has also taken a lot of good suggestions and updated a lot of good functions. And Microsoft says it will boost the market share of Windows 10 in the first half of 2018, which means there are likely to be a large number of Windows 10 upgrade deployments in the middle or second half of 18. So today I will briefly introduce to you the knowledge points of batch deployment of Windows 10.
There are three main solutions for the upgrade deployment of Windows 10: 1, in-place upgrade 2, new deployment 3, deployment using AutoPilot.
Windows deployment roughly goes through the following phases:
Windows 10 system deployment requirements:
Processor: 1 GHz or faster (support for PAE, NX and SSE2)
RAM:1 GB (32 bit) or 2 GB (64 bit)
Hard disk space: 16 GB (32 bit) or 20 GB (64 bit)
Graphics card: Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver or above, Windows 10 desktop version supports a minimum resolution of (1024 x 768)
The Windows 10 bulk deployment check also has tools for downloading from the http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb977556.aspx website. The screenshot of sharing is as follows:

In-place upgrade:
Microsoft strongly recommends that the upgrade of Windows 10 can be completed as soon as possible, and there is no need to reinstall the required software. The original software, drivers and C disk non-system files on Windows 7 will be retained. It is not recommended to upgrade in place on Windows XP, the version is too large, there may be unknown problems. You can upgrade in place by clicking on the Setup.exe file in the original image that has not been compiled. You can also use SCCM, MDT, WDS and other tools to upgrade in batch (you need to pay attention to the version of Windows 10. The lower version of SCCM does not support Windows 10). * ConfigMgr 2012 supportsWindows 10 version 1507 (build 10.0.10240) and 1511 (build 10.0.10586) for thelifecycle of these builds. Any new Windows 10 CB/CBB builds released in thefuture will not be supported With ConfigMgr 2012 and will require System CenterConfiguration Manager current branch for supported management.
If you want to deploy Windows 10 in your environment today, youshould have already upgraded ConfigMgr 2012 to the latest service pack andcumulative update as many of our customers already have.
If you are deploying Windows 10 Current Branch, then you alsoneed a plan to upgrade to System Center Configuration Manager. Once yourenvironment is upgraded to System Center Configuration Manager, then you willbe ready to start managing future builds of Windows 10 Current Branch as they arereleased.
If you don't think you'll be able to upgrade your environment toSystem Center Configuration Manager in the next several months, then you'llneed to deploy Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2015 with ConfigMgr 2012 to remain ina supported configuration going forward. Subsequent releases of the Windows 10Current Branch in 2016 and beyond will not be supported with ConfigMgr 2012.

New deployment (wipe out reinstall):
New deployment scenarios are generally used for Windows XP, newly purchased PC, and some scenarios that do not support local upgrades. Compared with local upgrades, new deployment is more time-consuming and costly. All software and drivers need to be reinstalled and relevant configurations need to be done step by step. The newly deployed ones will not be introduced too much, and I believe everyone knows how to play.
Deploy using AutoPilot:
AutoPilot is a new cloud-based tool for simplifying the deployment configuration of Windows 10 by Microsoft. You also need to deploy the system with tools such as SCCM and WDS, and then use this tool for unified configuration (you need to add Windows 10 devices to AAD). Details are as follows:
