Problem Description:

Import Chinese character set data through SQL Server Import Export Wizard and encounter The LocaleID4 is not installed on this system. error.

Solution:

I found that although the client server operating system does not support Chinese (Simplified) Locale, but supports Chinese (people's republic of china) Locale, change the Locale of FlatFileSource to Chinese (people's republic of china) as shown in the screenshot below, and then ensure that the Code page is set to 936, I successfully imported the CSV file into the database without garbled characters.
