Role installation

Open the server manager on the computer where you need to install the AD domain controller, and click "add roles and Features"

Open the add roles and Features Wizard and click next

Open the AD DS deployment wizard. Since we are deploying a new AD controller here, select "add New Forest" for deployment configuration, set the "root domain name" to "contoso.com", and click "next".

Domain Controller options:
