A few days ago, we reported that Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus are the latest flagship smartphones of the next generation P-40 series from Chinese giants, which can be booked through the company's own VMall. Tmall and JD.com are both in China.

According to our report, even before the company officially announced the price in the Chinese market on April 8, Huawei P40 Pro had already ordered more than 20,000 units in China.

Now we have updated this. Now, at JD.COM, the down payment for the P40 Pro has exceeded 80,000 yuan. Customers need to pay a deposit of 100 yuan when booking a phone call, so the phone number is not just an appointment.

Huawei P40 Pro has a 6.58-inch 19.8: 9 aspect ratio display with a screen resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 441 PPI and 90Hz. There are two perforated cameras on the display--one is a 32MP AF camera and the other is an infrared camera for face unlocking and depth sensing.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the company's own Kirin 990 5G processor. The chip has a new NPU, which improves performance by 460% and efficiency by 290%.

The phone supports dual-mode SA/NSA 5G networks, and the device also has a four-layer VC Liquid Super Cooling system to ensure that the smartphone stays cool even under high load and use.

The P40 Pro has four cameras on the back, including a 40 MP f/1.8 ultra-wide angle focal plane, a 50MP RYYB f/1.9 sensor with OIS, a 12 MP periscope telephoto camera and a ToF depth sensor.

Smartphones support Wi-Fi 6 Plus with transfer speeds up to 2600Mbps. It uses the latest Android 10 operating system and can run EMUI 10.1 out of the box. Note that the P40 doesn't offer Google services, but Huawei does offer mobile services through its AppGallery App Store.

The Huawei P40 Pro starts at 999($1095) and fits into models with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, as mentioned earlier, the price of Chinese smartphones will be announced when they launch in China next month.
