Description: this lab simulates the recovery of Exchange owa and ecp virtual directories after being forcibly deleted from IIS. There is only one Exchange in this environment, and the role is All in one.

Remove ECP and OWA from IIS

Re-establish the ECP virtual directory through Exchange Management Shell

a. Use New-EcpVirtualDirectory directly to prompt that this virtual directory already exists

b. Use Get-EcpVirtualDirectory to get a list of ECP virtual directories

c. Delete this corrupted virtual directory

d. Re-establish a virtual directory (the regular command is to specify the site and internal and external domain names, which is not the focus here. Repair OWA

a. The corrupted OWA virtual directory was deleted in the same way, but when re-established, the following error was reported

b. Adsiedit was checked and no residue was found. Check the system log and only prompt that the execution of the command failed, but not for other reasons

c. With this Case: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/502119-recreating-exchange-2013-virtual-directories, expand the application of the IIS default website

d. Delete / owa/Calendar, / owa/Integrated, / owa/oma

e. Re-establish the owa virtual directory, successful (New-OwaVirtualDirectory usage: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/client-access-servers/New-OwaVirtualDirectory?view=exchange-ps)

Log in to the background through ecp, configure the virtual directory and complete the repair.
