Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--
Today, I would like to talk to you about the lvm steps of disk expansion in the production line system, which may not be well understood by many people. in order to make you understand better, the editor has summarized the following contents for you. I hope you can get something according to this article.
Background note: the person in charge of the database reports that the ogg synchronization is interrupted, and the monitoring alarm trigger system does not have enough disk space, so it is necessary to expand the capacity as soon as possible.
Detailed process: please look down:
First, log in to the system to check.
It is found that two directories need to be expanded, and one of them is indeed 100%, as shown in the following figure:
First of all, consider expanding the capacity through the remaining space of vg. Let's check the size of the vg02 group. There are two vg groups. It should be noted that the two partitions we need to expand belong to the vg02 group, not vg00, so be careful on the production line not to get confused, as shown in the following figure:
It is found that vg02 has no available allocation space ~ ~ what should I do at this time? You can only add a new hard drive to the existing vg02 group and give it to the above two.
The whole expansion sequence:
1. Create a new PV---2. Add a new PV to the current VG---3. Expand the existing LV----4. Then expand the file system-5. Verification
Add a hard disk to the virtualization platform
Log in to the vcenter platform, find the corresponding ogg host, and click "Edit Settings"-add New device-hard disk
New hard disk allocation size (1024GB), that is, 1TB space, click "OK".
III. Expansion of the login system
After adding the disk above, you can log in to the operating system and check whether the newly added hard disk has been successfully identified by lsblk or fdisk command, as shown in the following figure:
(1) create a PV. Step: first partition-then create a new pv
You can see the partitioned sdc1 partition through lsblk, as shown in the following figure:
Create pv command: pvcreate vg02 / dev/sdc1 view command pvs, as shown in the following figure, created successfully:
(2) expand the capacity of vg. Here we expand the capacity of vg02. The specific orders are as follows:
Vgextend vg02 / dev/sdc1 View Information: vgs
(3) expand lv. Here, we need to expand the / oradata and / arch directories, as shown below:
/ dev/mapper/vg02-lvoradata xfs 1.9T 1.9T 75G 97% / oradata / dev/mapper/vg02-lvarch xfs 120G 120G 72K 100% / arch
Expand the / oradata directory, as shown below:
Lvextend-L + 500G / dev/vg02/lvoradata
Expand the / arch directory, as shown below:
Lvextend-L + 500G / dev/vg02/lvarch
(4) reload partition xfs_growfs
Xfs_growfs / dev/mapper/vg02-lvoradata xfs_growfs / dev/mapper/vg02-lv
4. After the expansion is completed, check the partition size after the expansion, as shown below:
