Set up a boot auto-run script in AIX

System environment:

Operating system: AIX 5300-08

On AIX, level 2 runs the default level for the system (multi-user, multi-task, graphics supported)

After booting, the system mounts the remote NFS file system automatically.

NFS MOUNT parameters:

When NFS is loaded on the NFS client, the system asks whether to use soft-mount or hard-mount. What is the difference between them?

The difference between them is that when a network or NFS server-side failure occurs, choosing the hard-mount option will cause the NFS client program to hang, while soft-mount will not.

Soft-mount: the number of times set by the retrans to retry when the client loads the NFS unsuccessfully. If the retrans is unsuccessful, the operation is abandoned and the error message "Connect time out" is returned

Hard-mount: when the client loads the NFS unsuccessfully, retry until the NFS server responds. Hard-mount is the default value for the system. When selecting hard-mount, it is best to select intr at the same time to allow you to interrupt the call request of the system and avoid causing the system to hang. When the NFS server cannot respond to the hard-mount request from the NFS client, the NFS client displays the

"NFS server hostname not responding, still trying"
