Chinanews.com, June 16 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- according to the Russian satellite network, Microsoft announced on its website that support for Windows 10 operating system, including professional version and home version, will be terminated on October 14, 2025.

The next-generation operating system that Microsoft will launch may not be called Windows 10, at least from a marketing or brand point of view, the report said. The new operating system will be called "Windows 11", "Windows Sun Valley" or some other name that has nothing to do with "10".

It is worth noting that this is the first time that Microsoft has announced the end of support for the current operating system before launching a new operating system.

The Windows 10 operating system was launched on July 29th, 2015.
