Is the exam difficult?

In today's society, certification is more and more like a pure commercial act.

Technology certification provides learners with the opportunity to systematically learn a technology and obtain corresponding certification, and the recruitment market is also more inclined to hire technicians who have obtained the relevant certification. At the same time, the more certificators there are under an enterprise, the more popular its technology and products will be.

There are many people attached to this industry chain, so it is in the common interest of the vast majority of people to join the learning queue and obtain certification as much as possible. Technical manufacturers, training institutions and candidates are all in the same boat, so from my personal experience and understanding, this exam is not difficult.

How long will it take to prepare for the exam?

If you are eager to take an exam and have a lot of money, spend 10,000 yuan to find a reliable training institution to take part in a three-day so-called factory training, and then inadvertently get some exercises, then one week is enough to pass the exam.

If you really want to learn AWS-related knowledge well and systematically, the exam is just a test of what you have learned. I suggest spending two hours a day and preparing for about two months. Of course, this is about 120 hours of study time, which can also be allocated according to your own time.

Here's a little advice: don't take too long to prepare, for example, six months or more. AWS's products are iterated very fast, and the learning cycle is too long, which may lead to not keeping up with the pace.

Is this certification useful?

Because I mainly do aws public cloud enterprise development related work, it is a pity that this certification is not very useful for my actual work. The certification of architects is more inclined to technology selection and cost optimization. For front-line developers, this certification is a bit like forcing you to memorize a product manual, with an outline, that's all.

Of course, for students who want to transition to aws or are interested in public cloud technology, assistant architect is still the most suitable subject and often a stepping stone for you to enter the industry.

Sometimes the most difficult thing to learn is not a lack of intelligence, but in the wrong direction. I spent hours or even days in vain on a problem. If you suddenly find an article or a talented person and point to a maze, you suddenly realize that this matter can be solved in three minutes. I believe people who are really engaged in technology have experienced that kind of doubt about why they have been unrepentant.

Therefore, do not encounter problems, change ideas, Baidu is not good, change Google, Google can not do experiments, experiments can not forum posts, posts no one back, find people around to discuss.
