1. Configure the website environment on the Linux system

two。 Download DVWA

(1) use the command wget https://github.com/ethicalhack3r/DVWA/archive/master.zip to download DVWA

Note: if there is a prompt bash: apt: command not found … Please use the yum install wget command to install the wget tool (Linux of the debian system, please use apt install wget to install)

(2) decompression

Use unzip DVWA-master.zip to get the DVWA folder

3. Install DVWA

(1) put the previously extracted DVWA folder into / home/wwwroot/default/ (the default website directory of LAMP)

(2) visit http://10.29.219.79/DVWA (my CentOS7) at this time

For the host address, please visit the IP of your corresponding host, which is the same below). The following error message will appear.

(note: the URL input here is entered in the browser of the virtual machine)

(3) according to the prompt, we enter / home/wwwroot/default/DVWA/config, use cp config.inc.php.dist config.inc.php to make a copy of the configuration file, and then type vim config.inc.php to start editing the configuration file.

(4) change the password of $_ DVWA ['db_password'] =' paccounssw0rdpassword; change the password for this line to the default password used by our MySQL (if you select a different database password when installing LAMP, enter the corresponding password here), as shown in the figure:

(5) access to http://10.29.219.79/DVWA will be redirected to

Http://10.29.219.79/DVWA/setup.php, click Create / Reset Database at the bottom of the page

Button, you can jump to the landing page of DVWA and start using it.

Note: the URL here is not necessarily followed by DVWA. It depends on the name of the folder you extracted. For example, mine is DVWA-master, so I visit http://192.168.65.131/DVWA-mas.
