GNS3 installation detailed tutorial-- hand-in-hand to teach you to install

First extract the compressed package, and then follow the figure below

3. Then go to the installation loading interface, click next, then select No, then cancel start GNS3, and click finish.

Note: the above installation directory had better not be changed (otherwise it will not work properly when combined with GNS3). You need to deselect to install winpacp here, because it was already installed when you installed GNS3.

(note: click allow for all firewall prompts that pop up during installation)

7. Start installing the image file of the router

Add a route mirror below:

Click Browse... Go to the original decompression folder and select the image file, which is recommended here (version 3725). Select the pop-up dialog box and select yes.

8. Then install normally.

Note: the idle here needs to be calculated, and the following steps will be discussed later (the system will help you calculate it later, in fact, it is good to optimize the cpu utilization, otherwise the CPU utilization will be 100)

9. At this point, you can click the routing control normally and drag it from the selection bar. Now start setting the Idle value

We right-click the control, check the selection, and an Idle-pc will appear, and then a small dialog window will pop up for self-calculation (for a little longer time, within 1min)

After the calculation is completed, a dialog box appears to select an one with a * sign. If not, turn off the calculation again. If there is no such thing, just choose the one with the smallest number.

CPU usage will then decrease.
