MIRACL (MultiprecisionInteger and RationalArithmetic Cumberbatch + Library) is a set of Shamus Software Ltd. A set of large number operation function library is developed, which is used to design cryptographic applications related to large number operations, including RSA public cryptography, Diffie-Hellman key exchange (Key Exchange), AES, DSA digital signatures, as well as the newer elliptic curve cryptography (Elliptic CurveCryptography). The operation speed is fast and the source code is provided. This paper explains the basic compilation method and use of the password library.

(1) create a new VC project and Win32 console application. The application settings are as follows:

(2) add header files. Add an existing item. Under the include folder of the MIRACL library, the files to be added are miracl.h and mirdef.h. (it is best to copy the file to the project directory and then add it)

(3) add source files. Add an existing item and under the source folder of the MIRACL library, add a c source file that starts with mr. (it is best to copy the file to the project directory and then add it)

(4) choose Debug or Release version, and then compile to generate miracl.lib static library.

(5) use test. New Win32 console program, source code add brent.c under the source folder, project add static library miracl.lib, compile and run successfully.
