Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--

The 1.4X version of GNS3 was previously installed under win, but this time the version installed under xubuntu is 0.8.7.

The interface is more or less the same. After importing ISO, add a device to see the effect:

What kind of terminal is this? the font is small and it is not allowed to be modified. This makes my eyes look bad. How can I bear it?

Click "Edit"-"preferences" in the menu to view "Terminal Settings" in "General":

It can be seen that the terminal software xTerm is used. After a general understanding of the Internet, xTerm needs to modify a configuration file to achieve the effect of modifying fonts. Please, just change it to your own terminal software. GNS3 comes with several pre-configured terminal commands, including Gnome's Gnome Terminal, KDE's Kconsole, MATE console, etc., except for the terminal commands under Xfce that I need. (Xubuntu differs from Ubuntu in that the desktop uses Xfce.)

The official document of Xfce is found on google, which contains the relevant contents of Xfce Terminal:

Starting Terminal

The easiest way to start Xfce Terminal is to use the applications menu of your desktop; for Xfce, point your mouse cursor to the desktop, press the right mouse button and choose System → Xfce Terminal.

You can also start xfce4-terminal from a command line or from the Application launcher. Just hit Alt-F2, type Xfce Terminal and click the button Execute.

Because the operating system language is Chinese, the terminal was not found by entering the command name. At the time of entanglement, it occurred to me that using the ps command to look at the process should be able to find the terminal name. Input

Ps aux | grep xfce

Check the results and find that there is one.

Zhansong 2501 0.2 1.7 108136 35472? Sl 08:04 0:06 / usr/bin/xfce4-terminal

Replace xterm with / usr/bin/xfce4-terminal, and the following parameters remain unchanged, and the terminal runs successfully. You can use xfce4-terminal directly.
