There is a "Field Settings" function button in the business table management interface of the metrics rapid development platform. Click to enter, as shown in the following figure:
We see that the Field Settings interface is similar to the database table creation interface; except that you cannot create new fields, each field can be set with properties. So what is the purpose of this function of setting properties in the business table field?
Business scenario:
The Information Section, the Office and the Finance Section all require their own home pages for uploading documents and materials for viewing and reading by the staff of the whole unit. However, due to the different business of each department, the classification of documents is also different, information section (information system, training manual, software update, network information.), office (rules and regulations, process, document download, notice announcement), finance section (notice announcement, financial rules.)
Through the analysis, it is found that in order to realize the business requirements of the three departments, the database table fields created are actually the same (author, date, title, text, attachment, document classification, department). However, due to the classification query and display of the files uploaded by each department, the contents of the file classification field can not be entered casually by the users, but can only be selected in a given range, that is, to set the file classification field to individual selection or other table selection. However, the file classification of each department is different, no matter using individual selection or other table selection, it is impossible to distinguish the contents of file classification field options in the same database; is it really possible to create only three database tables respectively?
In order to realize the above-mentioned business requirements with a database table, the function of measuring the business table field setting of the rapid development platform was born.
Field setting function: used to set field properties of fields in the same database table in different business tables
Business implementation:
Step 1: create a database table
Step 2: create business tables respectively, and set the properties of the "classification" field in the business table.
