Brief introduction

An open source free, easy-to-use, Jira-like problem tracking tool for small and medium-sized enterprises. Back-end php laravel-framework-based, front-end reactjs+redux-based Jira-like problem tracking tool.

Background

We have been using Jira for task management and Bug tracking in the actual development process. In addition to the high price of purchasing License, we feel that Jira is still a bit heavy in the process of using Jira, the global solution configuration is becoming more and more difficult to maintain in the later stage, the page experience is not as good as the popular SPA, and some complex functions may not be used all the time, so I have the idea of doing ActionView.

Present and future

It took nearly 3 years and every possible spare time to complete ActionView, which has just been released v1.7.3. At present, all of our R & D, testing and quality management teams have switched from Jira to ActionView, and the response is very good. There are also many external users who have been installed and deployed. Thank you for your valuable suggestions.

In the future, we will continue to focus on the research and development of ActionView product features, further enhance the user experience, and make it an important part of the enterprise open source R & D tool chain.

Main function

Support users to create projects and define their own configuration scheme, to achieve the perfect combination of global configuration scheme and local configuration scheme. (I still don't understand why Jira doesn't let users create projects.)

Support Scrum agile development and Kanban method, through Kanban easy to achieve task, requirements, Bug management tracking.

Each project can not only refer to the system default workflow, but also customize its own workflow, and each step of the workflow can be finely controlled to ensure that the right person performs the right operation at the right time.

Easy-to-use problem interface configuration. Powerful question filtering function, you can define your own filter. A complete access control model can customize roles, which can not only authorize users, but also support authorization to user groups. Flexible and customizable message notification scheme. Support users to comment on problems and add work logs. Team members can share and find the documents they need for their work. Wiki based on markdown syntax is supported. You can not only view the change record of a problem, but also browse the activity log of the entire project.

Support synchronization and authentication of LDAP-based users.
