Scenario description: you cannot run a software virtual operating system such as VMWare or MS Virtual server when using the Windows7 64-bit operating system. Hint: software virtualization is not compatible with long mode on this platform. Disable long mode. Without long mode support, virtual machines will not be able to run 64-bit programs. The main reason for this error is that commonly used software such as VMWare itself is based on 32-bit, if you want to run 64-bit virtual machines on it, you need to turn on virtualization! The Windows7 64-bit operating system is turned off by default!

Solution: open the VT option of 64-bit CPU and enable virtualization

Procedure: restart the computer and press the HP8770 key to enter the BIOS settings interface (equivalent to bootloader) to find the CPU settings, tick in the virtualization options (VT-X) and then restart the computer after saving the settings to exit. When you enter the virtual machine, you will find that there is no prompt for long mode incompatibility.
