­Alessio Fattorini posted an announcement in the community today announcing the official release of server-oriented version 7.4 of NethServer. The new version is based on CentOS 7.4 (1708), integrates all the latest software packages and technologies, and optimizes and adds features on this basis.

­in order to provide more convenience for system administrators, NethServer 7.4 improved the local Active Directory (AD) account to provide automatic Samba DC deployment updates, the version number increased to 4.6.8, and added remote AD and LDAP.
