This method is suitable for different versions of Dreamweaver 8, Dreamweaver CS3 (9.0) and Dreamweaver CS4 (10.0).

Find the directory: C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Application Data

If your version is Dreamweaver 8 or earlier, please go to the Macromedia directory

If your version is Macromedia 9 or later, please go to the Adobe directory

In fact, because Adobe later acquired Macromedia, so the directory is different.

Delete the corresponding Dreamweaver version folder in this directory. My version is Dreamweaver CS4, so I will delete it

C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Application Data / AdobeDreamweaver CS4 folder

The same is true of other versions, so there is no more wordiness here.

After deleting this directory, all your previous Dreamweaver configuration information will be lost. Reopening Dreamweaver will automatically regenerate the deleted folder and save the default configuration file in it.
