3 kernel requirements:

4, create groups and users that meet the requirements:

Touch / etc/oraInst.locvi / etc/oraInst.loc add the following two lines of inventory_loc=/u01/app/oraInventoryinst_group=oinstall

Create the necessary groups and users

Groupadd oinstallgroupadd dbauseradd-g oinstall-G dba oracle

Set the password for the oracle user

6. Configure kernel parameters and resource limits

Sysctl-a | grep semcat / proc/sys/kernel/sem

The first column represents the maximum number of semaphores in each signal set.

The third column represents the maximum number of system operations when each signal occurs.

The fourth column represents the system-wide maximum total number of signal sets.

Modify the / etc/sysctl.conf configuration file to add the following lines of kernel parameter settings

Sysctl-p enables / etc/sysctl.conf to take effect immediately

Check the number cat / etc/group of the oinstall group (mine is 500)

Echo 500 > / proc/sys/vm/hugetlb_shm_group

Add one line to / etc/sysctl.conf for permanent effect: vm.hugetlb_shm_group = 500

Check the resource limitations of oracle software users

Su oracle$ ulimit-Sn$ ulimit-Hn$ ulimit-Su$ ulimit-Hu$ ulimit-Ss$ ulimit-Hs

Check the corresponding numbers for those that do not meet the requirements

Add root users to limits.conf

Vi / etc/security/limits.conforacle hard nofile 65536oracle soft nproc 2047oracle hard nproc 16384oracle hard stack 32768source / etc/profile

Refresh the configuration. Su-oracle to see that the configuration parameters have met the conditions.

7, create the required directory

The Oracle installation directory requires 3G ~ 4G hard disk space

Use df-h to view the partition space that meets the criteria to create a directory in it (my change directory "/" the remaining 13g meets the criteria)

Create / u01/app directory

8, configure the oracle user environment

Vi / etc/oraInst.loc adds content; inventory_loc=/u01/app/oraInventoryinst_group=oinstall

9, configure x-manger

Connect red hat linux 6 with xmanager-xstart

Username oracle password:

If the error prompt: / usr/bin/xterm does not exist

Yum installxterm needs to be installed on Linux to connect properly

The time can be displayed normally, but there is a warning.

10. The database requires directory settings

Su-oracle

Mkdir db

Su-root

Note:

Linux.x64_11gR2_database_1of2.zip

Linux.x64_11gR2_database_2of2.zip. I uploaded it to linux through pure-ftp.

Then unzip decompresses and generates the installation directory database of oracle.

Mv / data/www1/database / home/oracle/db/

Su-oracle

Cddb

Chown-R oracle:oinstall database

Chmod 755 database

Cddatabase

Two problems encountered during installation

1. The display screen appears garbled during installation.

The reason is the font problem:

2, [INS-06101] cannot determine the IP address of the local host

The local host is not mapped to a valid IP address in the Hosts file, such as / etc/hosts in Unix. Action-assign a valid IP address to the local host, or set it to the loopback IP address (127.0.0.1 in IPv4 or:: 1 in IPv6). Summary-localhost.test: localhost.test

Vi / etc/sysconfig/network

: NETWORKING=yes

HOSTNAME=Oracle

Hostname Oracle

Eth0ip:192.168.205.135

Vi / etc/hosts

: 192.168.205.135 Oracle

So the ip of the hosts file matches the hostname
