If you use the Samsung Galaxy S10 on Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon, you can download Android 10 to your device right away.

Google surfaced with a report Reddit said earlier today that Android 10 is rolling out, so we asked the big four wireless carriers if they could tell us more about what they plan to roll out. They finally allowed these phones to update their software. This is the status of Android 10 launched by various carriers for Samsung Galaxy phones.

ATT:ATT has no information to share.

Sprint:Sprint confirmed to The Verge that Android 10 will be released today on the Galaxy S10, and Android 10 will soon be "launched"Note 10, Note 10 Plus and S10 5G.

T-Mobile: T-Mobile didn't respond, but support files on the company's website show Android 10 was released on Galaxy S10 devices on December 15.

Verizon: Verizon confirmed to The Verge that Android 10 will be available for Galaxy S10 phones starting today, but you may need to check for updates in Settings before you can get it manually (this may work for Sprint and T-Mobile customers).

In another Reddit thread, users on Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and Xfinity Mobile reported that they had updates throughout the day.

For most Android versions, users on non-Google phones typically have to wait for carriers to introduce new Android software to their devices. For example, Android 2018 didn't launch on Samsung devices until January 2018, so it's nice to see Android 10 arrive a month earlier than Android. (Android 10 first launched for Google Pixel phones in early September.)

In addition to the many new updates in Android 10, Samsung users will also get an updated version of their One UI, called One UI 2. My colleague Dieter Bohn found the original One UI to be pretty good, but One UI 2 seems to have made a lot of minor improvements to make the whole software work more consistently and efficiently.

After the update, go to the Settings Gestures section to see how they now work in Android 10 and where to tweak them if needed. Like any update, there are always potential bugs or weird UI, so if you see something weird, check out the Galaxy S10 subversion for issues and faulty threads.
