Types of SSL certificates-DV SSL,OV SSL and EV SSL

To obtain an OV SSL certificate, the applicant needs to submit relevant information in accordance with the requirements of the certification authority (CA). Domain Authentication (DV) SSL Certificate

DV SSL certificates only require domain name verification and are suitable for digital certificates of personal blogs, forums and small businesses. DV SSL certificates can also provide 256-bit encryption strength. The verification process of the DV certificate is very simple. The applicant only needs to provide the certificate authority (CA) with proof of the ownership of the domain name. The CA authority can verify the domain name by mail verification, document library verification, or the information of the website registrar.

A SSL certificate that can protect multiple primary domain names and sub-domain names under multiple primary domain names is called a multi-domain wildcard SSL certificate.
