2. Start cloning

The cloned system is in the shutdown state. Select Virtual Machine > Management > Clone > next > next (Clone from the current state or existing snapshot) > create a full clone, next > create virtual machine name, save location, finish

III. Modification of new cloned virtual machines

The configuration information of the cloned virtual machine is exactly the same as that of the source virtual machine. Although it is two independent virtual machines, the remote is not available and the ping is different. If you want to use the two virtual machines normally, you need to make some modifications.

1. Click Virtual Machine > Settings > Network Adapter, Advanced > generate (click generate and record the new MAC address)

2. Start the newly cloned virtual machine

Delete the file / etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules (this file records the network card information. After deletion, the network card information will be automatically recognized when the system is rebooted and the file will be regenerated.)

3. Modify the configuration file, update HWADDR to the new MAC value, and set IPADDR to the new IP address.

4. Modify the hostname: (HOSTNAME= new hostname)

Vim / etc/sysconfig/network

5. Restart the system

Reboot
