1. We use SecureCRT 8.0 remote terminal to connect GNS3 simulator through console line to set up our switch.

Let the VPCS hosts included in our GNS3 communicate with each other through the switch.

3. After all, this switch was changed by the router. We need to use CRT to set it up. Turning off the routing function can only transfer data. Double-click to open R1.

Our switch is set up, so let's set the IP address of the same segment for the two hosts so that they can communicate with each other.

All right, we've set it up. Let's start to test whether it can communicate with Ping.

This is our first experiment.

Two. We use two real hosts to connect the switch and interconnect. I use the VM virtual machine to build two real hosts. For detailed tutorials, please see my previous tutorial. At work, we finish the project in advance, and the next day we can directly brush the script.

First, bind our first host to a network card.

We went back to GNS3 and started to connect.

We go back to the virtual and set the address of the same network segment for our two hosts.
