Recently, when I was doing a process automation of the internal system of the bank, I found that some pages were much more complex than I thought, probably because of the test system, so such anomalies are inevitable, but since I am doing POC, no matter what kind of problems need to be solved.

The first method used for such an error is UiBot's element judgment.

But after the test, False is returned, meaning that the pop-up box for the exception cannot find the element.

Then try the second method that I think is omnipotent: image judgment.

The result is amazing, the return is still False, which is very speechless.

In desperation, I tried the third method of UiBot: text judgment.

Finally returned to True this time! (for powerful RPA software, there is always a way to surprise you.)

The problem of interface judgment is solved, then the next thing to do is to turn it off. I thought it would be easy, but I think too much about this abnormal situation here.

Here I first tried the first one: mouse click.

I used three modes: background system simulation. It is found that it is clicked, but there is no response, and the pop-up box is not closed, which is curious, which means that although selected, there is no feedback to you.

So I used the second method: close the window.

Found that still can not be closed, I have to admire the bank's internal test system invincible, here I used the third method: mouse click + analog button.

It perfectly solves the shutdown problem, but another reality is that there is not only one pop-up box here, but one to six different types of pop-up boxes at a time. (six can be collected)

If you only use a single element loop to judge, then you must not be able to deal with the order, because this place is random, you are not sure which one appears first, so the counting loop is adopted here.

Write all six abnormal situations in it, and the number of times is better than the type of pop-up box and the maximum number of popups, and then the waiting time for each interface judgment can be shortened as much as possible. otherwise, you will find that the waiting time for the interface that sometimes does not exist will be very long, which will reduce the sense of friendly experience to customers.

In short, usually like some abnormal pop-up boxes, sometimes it is really difficult to use a common sense control of RPA software to deal with the problem, so it is important to come up with a variety of solutions when dealing with problems (this has a lot to do with the functional comprehensiveness of RPA software, to determine whether you have a variety of alternative plans), of course, the primary standard is stability.
