Task lists are the twin of error lists. We can open it via View-> Task List. There are two types of tasks: user tasks and comments, which can be checked in the drop-down list at the top of the task list.

User Task: There is a Create User Task button at the top of the task list. Click on it to create new user tasks. The user task has priority, whether it is completed or not, and describes these three attributes (refer to the figure below).

Warning: User tasks are stored in a hidden solution file (.suo), so it can easily be corrupted.

Comment: I think we've all had the experience of writing some test code and then writing//todelete: *** in the comments. Full-text search for todelete when the task is complete, then delete the test code.

Visual Studio now makes it easier to locate certain comments that start with special tags. For example//TODO:

//TODO: to remove the test code.

It will appear in the task list as follows

If you want to locate comments in source code, simply double-click. By default, there are three tags: HACK, TODO and UNDONE. You can add your own label. Tools-> Options, go to Environment-> Task List, where you can add, modify and delete tags, MyTag tag is newly added in the image below.
