The operation management module of WFilter NGF integrates the functions of user management, real-time bandwidth limit, cumulative traffic limit, user Portal notification and so on. It is suitable for the operation and control of bandwidth in hotels, ISP, etc. In the two tutorials of hotel network management, online behavior management and network management of residential broadband operators, we introduce the basic functions of "operation management".

There is another point to add, that is, the policy control of over-traffic users. As shown in the figure below, we have added a "cumulative bandwidth" strategy to automatically add users to the "restricted Internet access group" once the traffic is exceeded.

These groups in the drop-down box belong to "virtual groups" and can be added in the Group configuration of behavior Management. It is important to note, however, that these groups have no policy. To achieve control, you also need to configure policies for these groups in behavior Management.

1. Management and Control Strategy of over-flow users

As shown in the following figure, a ban policy is configured for the "restricted Internet group" in the "application filtering". Once the "operation management" user exceeds the traffic, it will be automatically added to the "restricted Internet group" and thus banned.

Other behavior management policies and flow control policies can be configured similarly. For example, you can not completely ban the Internet, but add a more stringent flow control strategy to the "restricted Internet group".

two。 Reset of user group

In "Operations Management", in "user Management", click the "status" icon to see the status of the user, as well as the time and expiration time when he was added to the virtual group.

If you set a "monthly" traffic limit, excess users will be added to the overtraffic group until the beginning of next month.

If the "annual" traffic limit is set, excess users will be added to the overflow group until the beginning of next year.

Click "reset" to temporarily remove the user from the corresponding virtual group, but will be rejoined 30 minutes later.

3. User traffic statistics

Click the user's statistics icon in "user Management" to see the user's traffic statistics.

If you want the user to view the traffic himself, you can do so by turning on the "user Portal" function.
