Apple iOS 14 Announces New Privacy Features

In iOS 14, whenever the microphone or camera is activated, the iPhone displays an orange dot in the upper right corner of the screen, similar to the small green light built into the Apple laptop camera.

The most significant change is that Apple will require app developers to disclose new information. Under the new system, application developers need to specify the type of data collected by the application and label the specific information used to track network users. Of course, this information needs to be self-reported by developers, so the new system cannot completely rule out unfair behavior, but it should be able to provide more information about data collection practices.
