RTX8111 Driver Compilation Process

1. uImage generation requires mkimage, mkimage is uboot compilation generated.

2. The script for compiling uboot is as follows:

#CROSS_COMPILE= cross compiler can be specified in your system.export CROSS_COMPILE=/opt/EmbedSky/tools/4.6.2-imx6_linux/bin/arm-linux-

export ARCH=arm

export CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-

#make mx6q_sabresd_android_config

make mx6q_sabresd_config

make -j8

3. Cross-compilation tools using arm-linux-gcc --->

4. Install the 32-bit shared library because the cross-build tool and kernel version are 32-bit.

a) yum install glibc.i686

b) yum install zlib.i686

5. make menuconfig Configure PCIE Support Options:

-->system type --> Freecale MXC Implementations -->PCI Express support

-->bus support -->PCI E ***

6. The driver makefile needs a slight change:

Makefile Execution Command: make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-

KERNELDIR:=/opt/zhaoanan/03_rtx8111/opt/EmbedSky/TQIMX6/TQ_COREC/linux_IMX6_CoreC_3.0.35_for_Ubuntu

RTKDIR:=/opt/zhaoanan/03_rtx8111/opt/EmbedSky/TQIMX6/TQ_COREC/linux_IMX6_CoreC_3.0.35_for_Ubuntu
