Mainly focus on the following test case

1 、 PS attach / rejected / PS services not allowed in this PLMN

Because the current PLMN does not allow the provision of GPRS services, the PS attachment request is rejected. MS should remove RAI, P-TMSI, P-TMSI signature and GPRS encapsulated key sequence number, and set the GPRS update status to GU3 ROAMING NOT ALLOWED. And MS needs to store PLMN ID into FPLMN list, and a MS in the MS mode C state should perform PLMN selection instead of cell selection. A MS that is in MS mode An or B and in the network operation mode II or III state still maintains IMSI attach in the network.

The purpose of the test is to monitor UE's response to NW's rejection of attach.

There are 19 steps in the test.

2 、 PS detach / rejected / PS services not allowed in this PLMN

If the current PLMN does not allow the provision of GPRS services, so NW initiates the execution of the PS detach process, UE should delete any stored RAI, P-TMSI, P-TMSI signature, and PS ciphering key sequence number and set the PS update state to GU3 ROAMING NOT ALLOWED and change the state to GMM-DEREGISTERED. You also need to add PLMN ID to the FPLMN list.

If UE is in mode An and the network is in mode I, you should set T3212 to the initial value and restart if it is not running. And still keep the attach of IMSI for the CS service.

The purpose of the test is to test the behavior of UE when the network initiates PS detach procedure. Proc2 is to test the behavior of UE when the network initiates PS detach procedure under the UE of mode An and NW operation I.

3 、 Routing area updating / rejected / PS services not allowed in this PLMN

If the current PLMN does not allow GPRS services and NW initiates a deny RAU process, UE should delete the stored RAI, P-TMSI, P-TMSI signature, and PS ciphering key sequence number, set the PS update status to GU3 ROAMING NOT ALLOWED, store PLMN ID in FPLMN, and cannot delete the PLMN table.

The UE should perform the following behavior corresponding to the update type and UE mode,NW mode

1) UE is in UE operation mode C

UE shall perform a PLMN selection instead of a cell selection.

2) UE is in UE operation mode A, update type = periodic updating and Network is in network operation mode I

UE shall set the timer T3212 to its initial value and restart it, if it is not already running.

3) UE is in UE operation mode An and Network is in network operation mode II.

UE shall be still IMSI attached for CS services in the network.

Test purpose: monitor the behavior of NW after rejecting the RAU process because the GPRS service does not allow it. Also divided into test proc1 and proc2

4 、 Combined routing area updating / rejected / PLMN not allowed

If the current PLMN does not allow, and NW rejects a combined RAU procedure, then UE should not execute combined GPRS attach,switched on in the same location area or PLMN, except when the PLMN identity is equal to the HPLMN. And delete the stored RAI, PS-CKSN, P-TMSI, P-TMSI signature, TMSI CKSN and LAI, and store the PLMN to FPLMN. The MS that receives the RAUR message needs to stop the timer T3330 and enter the MM IDLE state.
