Experimental environment: GNS3-1.3.10 Wireshark-win64-1.12.4

The purpose of the experiment is to realize the communication across VLAN through Trunk link.

1. Open GNS3 and drag two routers into the work area.

2. Organic icon opens the tab to rename and change the device icon.

3. Change the device icon to the switch icon, and the R1 name to SW1,R2 name to SW2.

4. Right-click to select enter configuration option.

5. Set the disk space in the settings first.

6. Continue to set the type of business veneer.

7. Drag four hosts into the working area.

8. Use a network cable to connect the PC and the switch.

9. After being connected to the topology as shown in the figure.

10. Click to see turn on all devices.

11. Plan the VLAN range and IP address of each PC.

Double-click the icon of switch SW1 and SW2 to open the tab.

13. Enter conf (space) t in the SW1 tab to enter global mode, and then enter no (space) ip (space) routing to turn off the routing function.

14. Enter vlan (blank) 10recover20 (enter) to create vlan, then enter exit (enter) to return to global mode, and then enter do (space) show (space) vlan-switch (space) brief (enter) to view xlan information.

15. Enter int (space) f1 enter 0 (enter) to enter open mode, then enter switch (space) mode (space) access (enter) to enter the access link, and enter switch (space) access (space) vlan (enter) 10 (enter) to set the link to vlan10.

16. The same entry to port f1ram 1 sets the access link to vlan20.

17. Enter do (space) show (space) vlan-sw (space) b to view vlan information across modes.

18. Continue to set the switch SW2 according to the above steps.

19. Go back to the SW1 tab and enter int (space) f1max 2 enter port mode, and then enter sw (space) no (blank) trunk to set the link of f1max 2 port as the trunk link.

20. Continue to set the vlan identity of the trunk link, enter switchport (space) trunk (space) encapsulation (space) dot1q to set the vlan identity that encapsulates 802.1q, and then enter du (space) show (space) int (space) port number (space) switchport to view port identification information.

21. Set the vlan logo of SW2 according to the same above.

22. Double-click to open the tab of using PC, and enter the ip (space) IP address (space) subnet mask to set the IP address of each one one by one.

23. Enter the ip address of the PC3 in the same vlan in the tab of PC1 to get feedback, but there is no response when trying to connect PC2 and PC4.

24. Turn on the packet capture function on the trunk link to check it out.

25. You can see the vlan logo on the link.

26. Compared with the access link that also goes to PC3, it is found that the front tooth vlan logo is missing on the access link.

Therefore, if you want to transfer data on the trunk link, you need to mark the vlan through the switch. The vlan logo cannot be seen on the access link because the vlan logo is removed through the switch, otherwise the computer cannot recognize it.
