Recently, a student asked me if there are any installation tutorials for Wave GS6. I said that Wave installation is not complicated, just follow the tutorials provided by the original version.

Get interested, find out the software package, find a server and reinstall it again. Record it with this article.

There are two installation modes:

First, single server mode: integrated installation, installation of database, application server and license server on one server.

Second, multi-server model: multi-application server, need to provide license server installation, basically rarely used.

We use mode one installation, the configuration is simple and convenient, suitable for not too many users.

Installation requirements:

Server hardware requirements: as good as possible, mainstream configuration is fine, but it is strongly recommended to configure the array. (official requirements are minimum configuration requirements)

Installation process:

Software environment:

Operating system: recommended WIN2003 WIN2008

IIS: must support ASP / .NET/FRONTPAGE EX, etc.

Database: recommended SQL2008 R2

Msdtc support.

The first step is to check whether the software environment SQL,IIS is installed.

Database installation, can run normally, when installing, pay attention to sorting by default.

In the wave GS6.0 installation disk, the wave GS6.0 installer and related documentation are included. Among them, the relevant documentation is the installation

Random documentation of the disk, including release instructions, product white papers, installation manuals, and authorized operation instructions; and the installer contains this

SetupNaNd: is the GS6.0 installation bootstrap. Click this program to start the installation of GS6.0.

Components: stores some system components that the GS6.0 application server depends on, including. Net framework4.0 and other components

Packages: this folder stores the GS6.0 application server-side installation package

Installer: stores the installation wizard for GS6.0 and the installation package for the database side

Double-click to open SETUP.CMD to start the installer normally, after flashing a CMD command window, open the GS installation center interface (as shown below)

Accept permission, required

Select mode 1 to install the full suite of GS on this server, including database, application server, etc. Mode 2 is to install the license server separately.

We check the database installation, because our database will also be installed on this server, if you want to do a separate database server, this option can not be selected, next step

Fill in the relevant information, including enterprise name, system name, instance name automatically generated. Next step

Select the database type, we are SQL SERVER, enter the server address, login account and password.

Fill in the information of the database instance, the path of the database file and the size of the database, and finally default to the initial year.

Default is fine. Next step

Note that administrator passwords cannot be all digits and cannot be less than 6 digits.

Select the module you want to install.

Configure the preview, see if there is no problem, and click next.

Check the installation environment of the software.

All of them need to pass the test. Next step

Confirm to start installation

Waiting for the installation process. It takes time, so you can go to the bathroom or something.

Installation is complete, go back to the installation center interface and exit

System instance configuration interface, you can register, modify license settings and so on.

Compile a web page

Install the login interface.

SILVER LIGHT support is required to open the web page, just follow the prompts to download and install it.
