First, a brief introduction to Bridge

Create a bridge and join the interface

To create a bridge, click Bridge, click the + sign, enter a custom name, and click OK.

Add an interface to the bridge

Switch the tag to Ports, click the + sign, select the interface and bridge, and click OK.

III. Some suggestions

If we migrate the physical interface to the bridge, then our IP had better be placed on the Bridge interface, which can ensure that the IP address will not be invalidated due to the disconnection of the physical interface.

As shown in the picture, our original address is on Ether4.

Now we are going to migrate to Bridge1:

After doing this, we also need to migrate our DHCP interface to Bridge1.

The DHCP service will not work until it is modified!

By the same token, we can also add the WLAN interface or the virtual Wlan interface to the bridge to make a separate network segment.
