It is estimated that by 2020, the global connected devices will reach 28 billion. Industry 4.0 is almost ubiquitous and cannot be ignored, and the debate about the technology and potential benefits of Industry 4.0 continues to heat up.

Improving the implementation capacity will not only have a positive impact on the core of the transformation of the manufacturing industry at all operational levels, but also affect the whole scope of the manufacturing supply chain. There is no doubt that "Industrial 4.0" is bound to come, but the data show that only 15% of the companies have systematically implemented "Industrial 4.0", and only 16% of the companies have formulated a comprehensive development strategy.

Industry 4.0 is so hot that many enterprises may pay more attention to various emerging technologies, while ignoring the transformation of manufacturing solutions such as ERP and related business processes and practices is imperative. Manufacturers should consider how "Industrial 4.0" accelerates existing processes and tools rather than affecting their current speed, so as to realize the advantages of "Industrial 4.0". The success of Industrial 4.0 depends on smart adoption, a more integrated core system, and a commitment to change and new thinking.
