After installing serv-u 15, the local area network can be connected with ftp software, but if the public network is used, it cannot be accessed after directly mapping a non-port 21. The reasons are needless to say. The methods of changing the passive port and setting the mapping port are as follows:

1. Set the port of ftp to 20021 during installation (change after installation), and enter the public network ip address in "pasv IP or domain name". The location of the setting is: the established domain "Domain details" listener "ftp" and explicit ssl/tls. As shown in the figure:

2. Set the pasv port range from 20000 to 20020, and the location of the setting is: manage the server "Server Settings" (drop down the right page), as shown in the figure:

3. Set the rule of mapping internal FTP server ports to public network IP ports one by one in the router / firewall:

Public network IP:20000 > > server IP:20000

Public network IP:20001 > > server IP:20001

Public network IP:20002 > > server IP:20002

Public network IP:20003 > > server IP:20003

.

.

Public network IP:20021 > > server IP:20021

Description: set 20021 as FTP command port and 20000-20020 as FTP data port. The number of ports can be reduced according to the number of simultaneous visitors or the number of users.
