How to solve the use of eclipse into svn ssm project can not run properly and can not be added to the tomcat Server error, many beginners are not very clear about this, in order to help you solve this problem, the following editor will explain in detail for you, people with this need can come to learn, hope you can get something.
Recently, I went to work in an outsourcing company and entered the banking system to do outsourcing. I received a task to start an old project using the war package. As a result, after I used the plug-in that comes with eclipse to import normally (workspace), the project didn't start as I expected.
When I right-click the project, I set up the Runtime Server of the local tomcat and the tomcat Server has started the project normally before; after right-clicking run as tomcat, eclipse only started tomcat, but the whole item did not respond, and I checked tomcat in the server window and found that the project was not added at all. So I right-click the server of tomcat to put the project add in, but I can't find the project when I enter the add and remove interface.
After that, I thought there was something wrong with the project. I opened the code of the project to see its configuration and other information. As a result, I found that there was no response when I clicked on the tracking object using Ctrl+. This touches the blind area of my knowledge! So I Baidu, according to this URL, this is that eclipse does not regard this project as a runnable project, so I built a new traditional java project, and then copied the whole code pulled down from svn. After refreshing the project, it was sure enough that Ctrl+ clicks can be used.
I think the project can be run now, and then sure enough tomcat still can not be added, can only follow Baidu. Finally, I found the reason on Baidu encyclopedia. It turned out that the add and remove pages of tomcat in eclipse are all web projects, but I created a file in which Java Projects lacks web projects, so I can't add them. After following his steps, I can add them normally.
Then I started the project for the third time, and this time I didn't report any errors when I started tomcat, but I reported a 404 error when I typed the project URL, and then when I checked the problem, I found that localhost:8080 was also 404! Obviously, the console page of eclipse prints out the startup information! Have no way, have to continue Baidu, finally according to the method of this website to solve the problem. When restarting the project, I found that localhost:8080 can already display the tomcat boot page, but the project home page still cannot be displayed.
I had to check here and finally found that there were more WebContent folders in the project, and the project page files were all placed under the WebRoot folder. I suspected that this was the problem, but I checked it on the Internet. According to the method here, I finally solved the problem, and I didn't report it wrong again.
