Hello everyone, Lin Fei to answer the above questions, travel photos, travel photography many people do not know, now let's take a look!

How to develop travel photography in photography? Surrealists, like Dadaist photographers, use scissors, pasting and darkroom technology as the main modeling means to create a surreal "artistic realm" between reality and imagination, concrete and abstraction. Travel photography is to record the story of the journey perfectly. So, what kind of equipment does the travel shoot need to carry?

What equipment do I need to carry?

1. Camera: one personal trip is enough. Remember to bring a spare battery.

two。 Lens:

1) A wide-angle lens (such as 16mm) is necessary to travel, shoot a big scene or take a selfie

2) Standard zoom lens (such as 18-55mm/18-105mm, etc.) Are you used to it? If there is, you can take it with you.

3) A telephoto lens (such as 70-200mm/70-300mm, etc.) Predict whether there will be scenes where telephoto lenses must be used? Take it with you if you have it, or take it with you or put it in the hotel.

4) do you think you are carrying too many things with a high-light focusing lens (such as 50mm fplash 1.4)? If there's still room for this little mirror,

5) if you have travel glasses (such as 18-200mm), you can replace the lenses with the same focal length (except for large aperture focusing lenses).

3. External flash: generally do not take, unless you can take a "flash portrait".

4. Tripod: if your tripod is light, please bring it up to shoot the night scene, otherwise you don't have to take it (but it will be difficult to shoot the night scene).

5. Filter:

1) polarizer CPL is very useful for taking pictures of landscapes, and it is usually carried with you.

2) the graded gray GND is useful in the environment with large light difference, and usually comes with it.

3) Attenuator ND/ star mirrors generally do not, unless there is a special subject.

6. Suofang: unless you know how to shoot night scenes, you usually don't.

So generally go out with the equipment is: 1 machine 2 lenses (large aperture focus lens, wide-angle lens or standard zoom mirror or travel mirror) tripod CPL GND battery, enough to travel!

Basic shooting skills

First, observe, then shoot.

Many students will take pictures as soon as they go to a scenic spot. In fact, the shooting angle at first sight is not usually the best. We can first take a look at the scenic spots, see what they are, what are their characteristics, and think about which angle to take meaningful and story photos?

Second, pay attention to the direction of light.

As a novice, you may not be familiar with light. The simplest thing is to see whether the subject is "front light", "side light" or "rear light".

1. Guangshun 3354 can make a bright scene, but it will be a little dull.

two。 Side light-shadow scene, showing outline

3. Backlight 3354 can take silhouette, or special exposure photos.

When traveling, you may not be able to shoot in the best time and light, so make good use of the characteristics of the above light to compose! It's also a good idea to move around a little more and change the angle if you can.

Third, avoid hand tremors

Remember not to keep shooting, forget to pay attention to the shutter speed! At any time, when shaking hands, it is best to keep the shutter at the "safety shutter" or faster, so as not to take a loose and hazy picture.

Safety shutter = 1 / (focal length) second

(but the minimum is 1 stroke 50 seconds)

Example: 1) when using 105mm focal length, the shutter must be greater than 1105s.

2) when using the 18mm focal length, the shutter is not 1 stroke 18 seconds, but 1 stroke 50 seconds.

In extremely dark conditions, the subject should be close to the light source, shoot with a large aperture lens, ISO and aperture should also be raised, and the shutter should be as close as possible to the "safety shutter". (flem1.4 | 1Compact 1960s | ISO400)

Fourth, turn on automatic ISO

The automatic ISO function can make you feel at ease when shooting. You only need to pay attention to the aperture you should use, and the camera will automatically adjust the appropriate ISO value to maintain the shutter speed.

5. Pay attention to white balance.

In general, automatic white balance or "daylight" white balance can be used when shooting in broad daylight or daylight. Unless there are other colors of light in some rooms, such as museums and restaurants, adjust the appropriate white balance.

Intransitive verb backlight / backlight portrait

There are three options for backlighting / backlighting when shooting portraits:

1. Turn on the flash to make up the light.

2. Portrait photometry, the background is overexposed

3. Make a silhouette of the portrait.

seven. Original shooting

Tourist attractions may not be able to go again in a short period of time, you can choose the unit format of RAW when shooting, so that post-production has more room to modify to cope with exposure errors. If possible, saving the original JPG can best balance post-production and convenience! Note that RAW files can only be read with specialized software or Photoshop with Camera RAW plug-ins.

8. Pay attention to whether the scenic spot can be photographed.

As a responsible and orderly photographer, we need to always pay attention to whether the scenic spots we visit are allowed to take pictures. Some scenic spots can be photographed, but the flash can't be used. Then, remember to adjust the camera's "force flash off" option.

nine. Use exposure compensation (/-EV) when appropriate.

The camera's metering system may go wrong when shooting white, black, sky, trees, and dark materials. Remember to manually adjust the exposure compensation at this time. The formula is simple: light is light (EV) and dark is dark (- EV).

Ex.: when facing the sky (very bright), we want EV, when facing the dark jungle or building (very dark), we need-EV. When it's all white, do you think it's EV or-EV? (answer: EV)
