Guided Xrdp is an open source implementation of the Microsoft remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) that allows you to control remote systems graphically. With RDP, you can log in to a remote computer and create a real desktop session, just as you log in to a local computer. System environment server: Centos7.7 Minimal client: Windows10 installation desktop environment

The system installed in this lab does not have a desktop environment installed, so we need to install it ourselves. Skip this step if you have already installed the desktop. Centos7 provides "Cinnamon Desktop", "MATE Desktop", "GNOME Desktop", "KDE Plasma Workspaces", "LXQt Desktop", "Xfce" for our installation.

The following command lists the available environment groups:

We can choose the desktop environment we like, and choose to install the Xfce desktop here:

[root@localhost ~] # yum-y install epel-release & & yum groupinstall Xfce install Xrdp [root @ localhost ~] # yum-y install xrdp

After the installation is complete, set up boot and start xrdp

[root@localhost] # systemctl start xrdp & & systemctl enable xrdp

Create ~ / .Xdesktop and set the xfce4 desktop to start by default

[root@localhost ~] # echo "xfce4-session" > ~ / .Xprinter [root@localhost ~] # chmod + x .Xprinter connects remotely on the client side

Summary

Installing the Xrdp server allows you to manage the CentOS 7 server locally through a graphical interface.
