Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--

This article shows you how to close and start Oracle 11gR2 RAC, the content is concise and easy to understand, it will definitely brighten your eyes. I hope you can get something through the detailed introduction of this article.

Previously recorded the manual shutdown and startup of 10g RAC, now often contact with 11g R2 RAC, because the version is very different, so the shutdown method is also big, the specific 11g RAC is easier.

Let's turn to a specific description: in RAC under Oracle 11gR2, the architecture has changed. The information of CRS is also placed in the ASM instance, so to turn off asm, you must turn off crs. If acfs is also used, the information in the acfs cannot be accessed after a crs, so generally, the machine is not restarted and the crs is not easily turned off. Other service can go to stop/start according to their own needs. Note: 11g RAC is relatively slow to open resources (even if the resources shown after the command are start succeeded, it is not necessarily online to view them through crs_stat-t), it takes patience and check log.

1. Close the database:

This is the same as before, and the srvctl command is executed by the oracl user:

[oracle@rac1 ~] $srvctl stop database-d ORCL-stop instances on all nodes

Then check the status:

[oracle@rac1] $srvctl status database-d orcl

Instance rac1 is not running on node rac1

Instance rac2 is not running on node rac2

2. To stop HAS (High Availability Services), you must use the root user

[root@rac1 oracle] # cd / u01/grid/11.2.0/grid/bin

[root@rac1 bin] #. / crsctl stop has-f

The only optional parameter for crsctl stop has is-f, which can only stop HAS on the command server, not on all nodes. So to stop the RAC completely, you need to execute the command on all nodes.

3. To stop the node cluster service, you must use the root user:

[root@rac1 oracle] # cd / u01/grid/11.2.0/grid/bin

[root@rac1 bin] #. / crsctl stop cluster-stop the cluster service of this node

[root@rac1 bin] #. / crsctl stop cluster-all-stop all node services

You can also control the stopped nodes as follows:

[root@rac1 bin] #. / crsctl stop cluster-n rac1 rac2

The RAC of 11g R2 starts automatically by default, of course, if it needs to be started manually: that is, it can be started in the order of cluster, HAS, and database.
