Go to the Admin-> Networks menu and click the "Create Network" button.

Displays the creation page.

Provider Network Type selects "Flat".

Fill in "external" in Network, which is consistent with the parameter value of flat_networks in ml2_conf.ini.

Check the External Network selection box.

Click "Create Network" and ext_net is created successfully.

Click the ext_net link to go to the network configuration page. There is no subnet yet. Click the "Create Subnet" button.

Create a subnet_10_10_10_0,IP address of 10.10.10.Universe 24.

Here we use the default address of 10.10.10.1 for Gateway.

Usually we need to ask the network administrator about the Gateway IP of the extranet subnet, and then fill in here.

Click "Next".

Because we do not directly assign public network IP to instance, we do not need enable DHCP.

Click "Create".

The subnet is created successfully, and the gateway is 10.10.10.1.

Let's take a look at the changes in the network structure of the control node and execute ovs-vsctl show.

Br-ex and br-int are connected through patch port "phy-br-ex" and "int-br-ex".
